This introduction to 2-D and 3-D digital draw- ing and computer-aided fabrication covers the basics of digital drawing and prototyping and familiarizes students with Autodesk programs: AutoCAD, 123D Design, and 123D Make. Utilize digital drafting and laser-cutter technology to create 3-D, real-world prototypes of your designs. Three projects introduce students to prototyping, digital drawing, materials, and construction techniques as a way to transform ideas into real objects.
